Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Shorunmu has reacted to Maduka Okoye transfer to English Premier League side Watford.
Speaking on Brila FM, the Korea-Japan world cup goalkeeper, described the transfer as big achievement for Okoye and the entire people of Nigeria.

“It’s a big achievement I must say because to be in a big league is not easy for any goalkeeper. And for him to be transferred to Watford I say congratulations to him and to Nigeria entirely.” He told Brila FM.
Okoye penned a five-year deal with the Hornets, but will remain with Sparta Rotterdam for the rest of 2021-2022 campaign.
The former Fortuna Duesseldorf goalkeeper is the first Super Eagles goalkeeper to sign for a top flight division club in England.
