Chelsea and Super Eagles defender Olaoluwa Aina has broken his silence over his exclusion from the Super Eagles squad travelling to Russia for the 2018 World Cup.
Aina was dropped to the standby list from the Russia-bound squad on Sunday morning along with on-loan Porto midfielder Mikel Agu.
Aina found himself vying for two different roles with four other fullbacks Abdullahi Shehu, Tyronne Ebuehi, Elderson Echiejile and Brian idowu on the right back and left back positions respectively.
The Chelsea youngster eventually lost out of both roles and was left out of the squad.
Aina took to twitter to break his silence on Tuesday evening, his tweet reads: ”May be next time.. I want to wish the boys all the very best out in Russia make our Nation proud #soarsupereagles #MrLulu 🇳🇬 🦅”.
