The visitors made use of their numerical advantage and half the two minutes later, through Simone Romagnoli.
The comeback was completed in 72nd minutes La Mantis scored from close range.
The draw levels Torino 13th place on the table — with 18 points from 15 matches, two points adrift Empoli who are 11th.
