Ola Aina insists playing for the national team is not negotiable as it remains a big part of his career.
Aina enjoyed a good start to last season with Torino, but lost his place in squad when he left to represent Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
The coach Ivan Juric, allegedly, was not pleased with the player’s decision to participate in the tournament and he left out his squad for long time.
Although he later allowed him back towards the end of the campaign.
With his contract with Torino gradually winding down, Aina hasn’t made decision on his future, but revealed national team commitment remains crucial.
“Well see what the future holds and which ever team it is or even if is to stay at Torino, they have to understand that African Cup of Nations and the National team are big part of my career and life,” He told Planet Sport Football Africa.
