Super Eagles full-back Ola Aina was in action for Torino against AC Milan in the Serie A game at San Siro on Tuesday evening.
Aina started the game and was deployed to the left side of the midfield as coach Ivan Juric went into the game with a 3-4-3 formation.
The formation worked magic as Aina and his teammates reduced Milan’s attacking threats all through the game.
However, Milan managed to score one from the few shot they had in the game with former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud netting the only goal in the 18th minute.
Aina, who was making his ninth league appearance of the season, was substituted for Italian striker Simeone Zaza with 10 minutes left.
In his 3 seasons at the Club, Aina has played 86 matches and scored 2 goals.
The defeat left Torino in 10th position on the table and they have only won one of their last five games, suffering three defeats and one draw.
