After penning a new deal with Czech Republic champions Slavia Prague, Peter Olayinka says he’s hoping to repay the club with goals.
Olayinka put pen to paper for an improved deal at the club last week and the new deal will keep him in Czech Republic for the next three years.
The 25 year-old says he’s happy to prolong his stay at the club and expressed his gratitude to the club for showing faith in him.
“I am excited to have been given the opportunity to extend the contract in Slavia and to continue it,”Olayinka told Slavia TV.
“It is very important for me to know that the club trusts me and that it wants me to stay longer. That pushes me forward.”
On 21 July 2018, Slavia Prague signed Olayinka to a four-year contract from K.A.A Gent for €3. 2million.
Before signing for Prague, Olayinka spent a season long loan with Czech First League side Dukla Prague where he also impressed.
Since making his debut for Slavia Prague, he has played 85 competitive matches for the club , scored 17 goals 10 assists and won the league title.
