Enyimba midfielder Cyril Olisema has stated that he will be ready to jump ship and move abroad in the eventuality of a deal emerging amidst the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and its effects on sports in Nigeria.
Olisema speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said it’s been a very idle situation for everyone and no longer encouraging because while others had a provision to contain the pandemic with regards to how it affects their sports, it’s been totally shut out and no show in Nigeria and players are not able to really enjoy what they love to do.
“I don’t think any player indeed that was playing NPFL that you will ask this question and would want to stay back. In terms of salaries and players’ welfare how can we be sitting like this waiting for just salaries to becoming and you know and what actually I love to do, I am not doing it again. You know how you will feel even as a footballer you will feel somehow.”
