Super Eagles of Nigeria star Kenneth Omeruo led Leganes to a 2-0 victory at SD Huesca FC in week 15 of the Spanish Laliga SmartBank League.
The 27-year-old defender captained the Cucumber Planters on a day they needed a leader on the pitch.
Kenneth Omeruo was assisted at the back by Spain stars Javi Hernandez, Sergio Gonzalez Poirrier, and Sergi Palencia and they helped the team keep a clean sheet.
The first half ended goalless, but Leganes increased the tempo in the second and deservedly come out on top.
Serbian star Lazar Randjelovic opened the scoring in the 62nd minute, thanks to an excellent assist from Fede.
Spanish star Borja Garces capped the flawless second-half performance with the second goal in the 83rd minute.
The 2-0 victory takes Leganes football club to the 20th spot of the Spanish Laliga SmartBank League table with 14 points from 15 matches played.
Leganes will continue their fight against relegation when they return home for the tie against Real Oviedo on 20 of November.
