Leganes of Spain Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo says the Super Eagles Main team will struggle to beat Mexico.
Omeruo made this known, while reacting to the 4-0 bashing of the home based in the hand of Mexico on Sunday morning in Los Angeles.
The NPFL players were outplayed by the world number eleven in the international friendly and the result drew negative reactions from football lovers on social media.
Omeruo has now come to the defense of players, and saying the Super Eagles main team will struggle to cope with qualities in the Mexican team.
The Leganes of Spain defended also described the El Tri has one of the best team in the world.
“Mexico is one of the best teams in the world and even with the main Super Eagles it would have been difficult and it can go either way how much more a whole team of home-based players with just one or two weeks to train and that is not enough”, he said in Abuja.
