CD Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo has made a quick return from injury after training with the team on Friday.
The 26-year old had been doubtful for Sunday’s clash against Sevilla following the muscular injury he sustained in the Los Pepineros 2-1 defeat to Barcelona last weekend.
A Spanish football website futbol fantasy confirmed on their website that the Nigeria international will be available for selection against the Los Nervionenses at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Sunday.
“Leganés has completed the work, recovering two of the players who were serious doubts for Sunday’s match at Sánchez Pizjuán. Kenneth Omeruo and Roberto Rosales.
“The Nigerian central suffered muscle discomfort during the last league match and Roberto Rosales finished the same game with a slight sprained ankle. Luckily, both have recovered well and could enter the call, although their presence in the starting eleven remains doubtful.”
The Super Eagles defender has featured in nine league games for Leganes this season.
