Perhaps corruption and not under funding is the biggest challenge of sports development in Nigeria.
Hence changing the paradigm is paramount ahead of the board elections into the Nigeria Boxing Federation according to outgoing member, Azania Omoagege.
Omoagege admonished candidates vying for positions on the new board to pursue an agenda of development rather than personal aggrandizement.
He charged Federation members to adopt policies that will help Boxing in Nigeria grow and help it out of its current state.
