One goal, Assist for Moses Simon against Bordeaux

Moses Simon delivered a complete performance for Nantes as he scored and assisted another in the side’s 5-3 win over Bordeaux on Sunday.

Simon created Nantes third in the 67th minute, before getting his name on the scoresheet ten minutes later.

The former Levante forward now has seven assists and four goals in twenty-eight league games for the Canaries this season.

Nantes fell behind six minutes into the game when Senegalese forward Mbaye Niang scored from the box.

The visitors doubled their lead through Javairo Dilrosun in the 18th minute, but Nantes pulled one back on the stroke of half time.

Bordeaux defender Ricardo Mangas then scored an owngoal to make it 2—2. They restored their lead moments later when Enock Kwateng capitalised on Nantes’ slack defending.

Moses then responded by setting up for the leveller, before putting Nantes ahead for the first time ten minutes later.

Osman Bukari sealed the dramatic come back win for the hosts couple of minutes later.

Despite the victory Les Canaries remain 9th on the table with 50 points. They will have a chance to cap their impressive season with a trophy when they face Metz in the French Cup final next month.
