Onuachu desperate to improve on last season’s success at Genk

Paul Onuachu said he’s pleased to continue with Genk and he’s desperate to improve on his last season’s success.

Onuachu scored 35 goals for Genk last season, but struggled to find form at the beginning of the season, and was dropped from the squad at some point.

With 11 goals from as many matches for the Club in recent week, it is safe to say, the lanky forward is now back to best.

Ahead of Genk’s Europa league match with Dinamo Zagreb this Thursday, Onuachu addressed the press on his good form.

“I benefit from the qualities of the players around me,”

“Although the most important thing for me is that I push myself every day to get better. I am demanding. I play the way I train. I need that sharpness to be there in the matches.

“Everything has to do with trust. Even if I lose the first game of the match, I’m not going to try to force it. I have enough experience to know that the opportunities will come and I will finish them.” HetoldHet Laatste Nieuws.
