Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu admitted clubs have made contact for his services for possible transfer next summer.
Onuachu is one of the top scorers in Europe this season with 27 goals in all competitions for his Belgian club side KRC Genk and his exploits have attracted interest from European giants.
The former FC Midtjylland forward was linked with a transfer to French Ligue one giants Lyon back in January, but the move did not materialize.
A report by La Capitale claimed Lyon will be back for the Striker, who is the leading scorer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this season, when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Reacting to rumors surrounding his future, Onuachu admitted there were contracts, but he’s focusing on ending the season on high with Genk.
“Right now there are clubs and there are rumors, but for me right now I don’t want to put my head in these things and I just focus on Genk until the season ends and I’ll know the next step,” He told brila.net
