Super Eagles star Paul Onuachu scored his second league goal of the season for KRC Genk in their 4-0 victory over Leuven FC on Saturday night.
Genk hosted Leuven FC at the Luminus Arena and the players weren hoping to bounce back from disappointing Champions League defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Theo Bongonda opened scoring for the Coach John van den Brom’sside in the 3rd minutes through an assist from Daniel Arteaga Zamora.
Onuachu doubled the lead in the 59th minutes, before Junya Ito scored another goal in the 78th minutes to make it 3-0.
Christian Thorstvedt completed the rout when he net the last goal of the game in the 90th minutes to end the match 4-0.
The victory over Leuven FC moved KRC Genk to the 4th spot of the Belgium Jupiler League table with 7 points from 4 matches played.
