Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka made his debut for Brentford FC in pre season friendly against Manchester United on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old midfielder started from the bench, but was thrown into the thick of action by the coach on the 62nd minute.
Onyeka made an impression after coming on as the Bees forced Manchester United to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.
Anthony Elanga gave the hosts the lead inside the opening 7 minutes, but the lead did last for 13 minutes as Shandon Baptiste draw the visitors level with emphatic finish.
Andreas Pereira restored Manchester United’s lead five minutes into the second half with another fantastic volley from 25 yards.
However, it would end level after Bryan Mbuemo netted a second for Brentford when he capitalised on a defensive error.
Recalled Onyeka joined Brentford on a five-year deal from Danish side FC Midtjylland where he spent three seasons.
