Onyeka scores maiden Premier League goal for Brentford

Super Eagles Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka has finally scored his first Premier League goal for Brentford FC on Saturday.

Onyeka scored as the Bees played out a 3-3 draw against Newcastle United at St James Park.

Newcastle captain Jamil Lascelles scored the opening goal for the hosts inside the opening 10 minutes before Ivan Toney equalized for Brentford immediately after the restart.

The visitors took the lead for the first time after Rico Henry put them ahead in the 31st minute.

Brazilian striker Joelinton leveled up for Newcastle United in the 39th, after Brentford failed to clear their line.

The first half ended in parity, but Brentford’s manager Thomas Frank wasn’t satisfied and he decided to bring Onyeka for Saman Ghoddos in the 59th minute.

The former Midtjylland star justified the coach’s decision as he scored the 3rd goal in the 61st minute of the game.

The host however fought back for the second time and got their equalizer through Allan Saint-Maximin in the 75th.
