The duo of Oghenekaro Etebo and Henry Onyekuru were on parade for Galatasaray in their away win against Alanyaspor On Saturday.
Both players started the match for the Fatih Terim’s tutored side on a day they opened up a three-point lead at the top, thanks to Emre Kilinc’s 18th-minute strike at the Bahçeşehir School Arena.
While Etebo completed the game, Onyekuru was replaced in stoppage time as they whined down the clock to take all three points.
Meanwhile, another Nigerian on the payroll of Galatasaray Valentine Ozornwafor watched the entire duration of the match from the bench.
Following the victory, Galatasaray now with the top of the table with 54 points from 25 matches, they lead second-place Besiktas with three points, although the Sergen Yalçın has played a game less.
