In Belgium on Wednesday, Henry Onyekuru scored the only goal in Anderlecht’s 1-0 win at Westerlo in a Belgian Cup game.

Onyekuru has now scored in consecutive games for the Belgian champions after notching a leveler for against Kortrijk.

So far, the 20-year-old has scored four goals in all competitions this season but is yet to net a Champions League goal.

Onyekuru was Eupen’s top scorer last season and after penning his Toffees deal he will spend next 12 months on loan at Anderlecht.

The exciting forward revealed back in December that he dreamed of playing in England and north London was his ideal destination.

“I’m a huge Arsenal fan, Thierry Henry is my idol. Now I’m a professional footballer, I try to copy him as much as possible.

“I look back to the games I saw as a boy, but I also regularly watch videos on YouTube to see how he did certain things.”

That match ended 3-0 in favor of the Bavarians.

Meanwhile, Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi also continued his great form in Belgium.

He scored his third goal of the season after 27 minutes in Royal Excel Mouscron’s 3-1 win over Tubize at Stade Le Canonnier.
