Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru is on his way to Borussia Mönchengladbach after complications with Anderlecht Coach over his non-inclusion in Nigeria’s World Cup squad.
Anderlecht had an agreement with Everton about a second loan, but Onyekuru does not want to stay in the Astridpark.
Onyekuru moved from Eupen to Everton last summer, which immediately loaned him to Anderlecht for a year.
The attacker proved his Purple-White value for New Year, with nine league goals. He played his last game for Anderlecht on December 22 of last year, at home against Eupen. A major knee injury had since kept him on the sidelines.
Everton reached an agreement with Anderlecht to put Onyekuru for the second season in the Astridpark, but the player himself does not want to play another season for Anderlecht.
He believes that he does not get enough trust from coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck, who has repeated several times over the past few weeks that Onyekuru “is not ready to play”. The player himself disputes that.
