Henry Onyekuru has urged his teammates to move on quickly from the defeat against Caykur Rizespor and focus on the next coming matches.
Galatasaray suffered shocking defeat 2 – 0 at Caykur Rizespor on Sunday in their first league game in a month.
Onyekuru was on parade for 77th minutes, but it was Tunay Torun and Milan Skoda who got the goals that handed all three points to the home team.
Speaking after the game, Onyekuru revealed that the team is disappointed not to pick a point from the game, but admitted they don’t have time to feel sorry as they have to bounce back for the next game against Gaziantep.
“ We are not happy we lost the game because we thought we could have won or even returned with a point but you know it is football and we lost on the night.”
“That being said, we would get back to work and return to winning ways soon. The league is still in sight and we will give it everything we’ve got,” an optimistic Onyekuru said.
The defeat leaves Galatasaray in the third position on the log with 50 points from 27 games.
