Super Falcons star Desire Oparanozie says she’s delighted to join French side Dijon and looking forward to helping them achieve their targets.
The former Super Falcons captain signed for the team on Tuesday and she’s expected to remain at the club for the next three seasons.
Oparanozie ended her six years adventure with another French team Guingamp last month, following the expiration of her contract.
The 2019 FIFA World Cup captain is delighted to be starting a new chapter in her career and she hope to help the team reach greater heights.
“Officially I am now a Dijonnais. I am very happy to start a new adventure with this club. The object is to help my new team attain greater heights. Come on Dijonnais💪🏾.” she said after her unveiling.
The Super Falcons star has now become the first summer signing of Yannick Chandioux ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Meanwhile, Dijon is hoping the signing of the former Bayelsa Queens star will help them maintain their stay in the top-flight for the second consecutive season.
