Chairman and coach of Lagos based Nigeria Women Premier League side FC Robo Queens Emmanuel Osahon has stated confidently that his side will deliver the Nigeria Women Premier League title at the end of the ongoing Super 6 tournament in Ijebu Ode after maintaining the top spot at the end of matchday 3 courtesy of a 4-1 win over Edo Queens on Thursday.
Osahon speaking in a chat with brila.net said that the results so far achieved by his side was planned for while this may have come as a surprise to some.
He stressed that Robo Queens have been a tormenting side in the league to the established big team order and are now set to hold on to their current lead to emerge as champions at the end of the Super 6 tournament.
“We planned for it and we are getting results, we just hope that we get the remaining result and we know what to do next. We are tormentors, even in the league the highest goal scorer of the league is from my team and she keeps scoring day in day out. So we have some quality players though they are young but based on the kind of training and orientation we give them, they will deliver.”
