Rave of the moment Bright Osayi-Samuel says Coach Jose Peseiro delivered another mind-blowing performance for the Super Eagles as they overcame Guinea Bissau on Monday.
The Fenerbahce defender won the penalty converted by Simon Moses as the Super Eagles earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau on Monday.
The 25-year-old, was the stand out performer against Baciro Cande’s side over the two legs of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounters.
Speaking with NFF media on his performance, the former Queen Park Rangers defender said:
“In our trainings the coach always want me to attack and defend as well,” Osayi-Samuel told NFF TV.
Osayi-Samuel also reflected on the penalty he won at the Estadio Septembro 24.
“When I got the ball, I saw it as an opportunity for me to attack. My initial plan was to dribble past the defender, but he brought me down.
“Like I said I tried to give my best to the team and I’m happy that we won.” He said.
