Oshoala on parade as Barcelona qualifies for Champions League final

Asisat Oshoala featured as Barcelona Femini qualifies for the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League final.

It was her second appearance for the club since returning from the injury that kept her out of action for two months.

Barcelona Femini booked their place in the consecutive final of the competition with a 5-3 aggregate victory over their German Counterparts.

The defending champions won the first leg 5-1 but lost the second leg in Germany 2-0 on Saturday.

Asisat Oshoala came on for Jennifer Hermoso for the final 31minutes of the game and was unable to get a goal.

Tabea Waßmuth got the opening goal for Wolfsburg in the 47th minute before Dutch forward Jill Rood grabbed the second.

The loss brought an end to Barcelona Femeni’s 45-match winning streak in all competition this season.

They will meet the winner of Paris Saint-Germain vs Lyon for the chance to be crowned champions of Europe in Turin at the Allianz Stadium.
