Super Falcons Asisat Oshoala was on target for FC Barcelona Feminine in their 9 – 0 thrashing of Santa Teresa in the Spanish Iberdrola on Saturday.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool ladies started from the bench and were introduced to Mariona Caldentey in the 46th minute of the encounter.
She later scored the final goal of the match in the 82nd minutes to complete the rout for her team.
The goal marked an important week for Asisat Oshoala who was nominated for UEFA women’s team of the year last week.
Asisat’s best friend, Jernie Hermoso scored four goals, and she became Barcelona Feminine’s all-time scorer with 124 goals in the process.
Barcelona has now all their seven league matches so far and they have scored 36 goals.
