Barcelona Femení striker Asisat Oshoala is now thinking of adding the this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League title to her incredible trophy collection.
Oshoala and her teammates have won every available titles in Spain in the last fourteen months, including last season’s women’s champions.
The Culés wrapped up the 2021-2022 league campaign with Oshoala winning the golden shoe award despite missing three months of action.
She contributed 20 goals in 19 appearances as Barcelona won 30 of 30 games.
“It has obviously been a team effort to get here, and l can only thank my teammates and everyone at the club for this achievement,” she said after winning the top scorer award.
“We’ve been working hard all season and cannot stop now because we have another big one ahead of us,” She told BBC
Next for Oshoala and her teammates is the UEFA Women’s Champions League final against seven-time champions Lyon in Turin on Saturday and the Nigerian said all hands are on deck for the game.
“The focus of everyone has shifted from a league title celebration to preparing for a massive game in Turin,” she added.
Barcelona won last year’s final beating Chelsea 4-1 in the final.
