Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen was on target again for Napoli as they defeated Udinese in the week 4 of the Italian serie A.
Osimhen led the attack for Napoli with Captain Lorenzo Insigne and Matteo Politano as Napoli secured another important win on the road.
Osimhen was the hero for Napoli in the Europa League against Leicester City last Thursday and he followed the performance up with the opening goal against Udinese.
The 22 years old opened scoring for Napoli n the 24th minutes after tapping Lorenzo Insigne’s ball over the line.
It was first league goal of the season and third for the Nigerian striker in all competitions.
Amir Rrahmami doubled the lead in the 35th minutes, before Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly made it 3-0 in the 52nd minute.
Substitute Hirving Lozano completed the rout with the fourth goal of the game in the 84th minute.
After the game, a delightful Osimhen praised the team’s effort.
“A great show from the team today”, he wrote on Twitter.
The three points took Napoli to the top of the league with 12 points from four matches.
