Victor Osimhen hailed the Nigeria’s historic performance against Sao Tome and Principe, but warned the team must build on the momentum.
The Super Eagles won 10-0 to move top of their 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifying Group and handed Sao Tome another defeat.
Osimhen was involved in six of the ten goals – with four goals and two assists – while Terem Moffi scored a brace with Peter Etebo, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon and Emmanuel Dennis getting their names on the score sheet too.
Reacting to the performance, Osimhen tweeted a message celebrating his teammates and the victory.
