Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes Victor Osimhen could one day be regarded as one of the best players in the world.
The Nigerian hitman scored in eight straight games, as Napoli smashed Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
After taking his tally to 20 goals in 24 games, Osimhen became the centre of attention once again amongst former players and pundits, who couldn’t stop heaping praises on the striker.
“I think he’s next in line and I think if you are his agent, those numbers are important because he’s the next 100 million pound player”, Hargreaves says in the Super Sports Studio.
“You probably think Manchester United, Chelsea and a lot of team will be desperate to have this guy,
The former Bayern Munich player, says the striker would be a perfect fit for big premier league teams like Chelsea and Manchester United.
“He has everything, the size, speed and strength. 19 goals in 23 games, tho numbers are top top numbers. Any manager will be desperate to have him because he gives everything.
“I think he’s very unique because of his size and I think he’s the type of guy, we all don’t want to play against because of his size and strength and his numbers are elite numbers,
After his scintillating form this season, Hargreaves believes he’s up there among the best in Europe.
“Haaland has them, Lewandoski has them, and that’s why you are going to looking at him if you need a centre forward.” He concluded.
