Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have have been nominated for Serie A player of the month award for October.
The organizers of the award, the EA Sports unveiled their five nominees for the Serie A player of the month on Wednesday and the Nigerian tops the list.
Napoli’s Osimhen and Lookman who plays for Atalanta were shortlisted, alongside AC Milan striker Rafa Leao, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic Savic, and Nicolo Barella of Inter.
Victor Osimhen netted 5 goals for the Partenopei, including hat-trick against Sassuolo last week, while Lookman also netted a fine goal against Lecce.

While Osimhen has eight for the league leaders, Lookman has contributed 5 goals, with four of those goals coming in the month of October.
Lookman’s incredible success last month can’t be denied, but Osimhen remains the favorite for the accolade.
