Victor Osimhen and his Napoli teammates are moving closer to Seria A title after another difficult win over Juventus at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
Osimhen who is the leading Seria A scorer showed why he’s one of the most sorted after talents in Europe as tormented Juventus defenders all through.
The 24-year-old striker however was unlucky not to get his name on the score sheet, especially in the second half. His low drive clipped the base of the post, while two headers went straight to the arms of the goalkeeper.
The late winner finally came off the boot of Italy’s forward Giacomo Raspadori in the added time.
Following the win, the Luciano Spalletti’s side have moved 17 points clear of second-placed Lazio and can be crowned champions of Italy next weekend if they beat Salernitana and Lazio fail to win against Inter.
The Partenopei last won the league title since 1990 when they lifted their second-ever Scudetto during the Diego Armando Maradona era.
They have earned 78 points in 31 games this season with 25 wins, three draws and three defeats.
