Osimhen reveals the most important goal of his career

Victor Osimhen has picked his goal against Chelsea in the Champions League as the most important of his ongoing footballing career.

The Nigeria international scored his first Champions League goal when Lille hosted Chelsea at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in 2019.
It was a leveler for his team after Tammy Abraham had put the English side ahead.
However, it was Chelsea that had the last laugh as Willian got the winning goal for the Blues late in the second half.
Despite the defeat, Osimhen picked it as the most memorable of his career.
He said: “The goal against Chelsea in the Champions League stood out for me. I’ll forever cherish it because it was the kind of game we dream of f playing as a kind and my friends who are Chelsea fans sent me messages before the game.”
“They say, they don’t care if Chelsea wins 5-1, they just want me to score the only goal for my team,” He told NFF TV.
Osimhen scored 14 goals in all competitions as the campaign was brought to an end abruptly, with no thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the performance was enough to earn him a record transfer from Lille to Napoli.
