Victor Osimhen suffered heavy defeat with Napoli in the hand of his former side Lille Metropole on Wednesday.
Osimhen and his teammates welcomed the former French Ligue 1 Champions to the Diego Maradona’s Stadium for another club friendly.
The Nigerian forward played from the start and lasted for 61st minutes before being replaced by Matteo Politano.
It was a disappointing outing, not just from Osimhen, but the entire Napoli side as they went down 1-4 to the visitors.
They looked lethargic and completely shadow of the team that dominated Serie A and Champions League before the World Cup break.
Bafode Diakite opens the scoring for Lille in the 18th minute, before Jonathan Bamba added a second half brace to put the game beyond the hosts, after Jonathan David had made it 2-1.
Giamoco Raspadori got a consolation goal for Napoli in the three minutes of added time.
