Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso is disappointed with his side’s exit from the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
The Flying Eagles were eliminated from the tournament after losing 1-0 to South Korea in the quarter-final match on Sunday.
Seok-Hyun Choi’s extra time strike decided the game after the regulation time had ended without a goal.
Speaking after the match, Bosso said his team paid for their profligacy in front of goal.
“We tried our best but it wasn’t good enough,” Bosso said. “Our finishing wasn’t good. But you can see we’ve left a group of players for the federation to build on.”
