Nigeria U20 national team first assistant coach Oladuni Oyekale has hinted that there won’t be open screening for the Flying Eagles of Nigeria because of the time frame ahead of the team’s schedule of engagement next month with the WAFU competition to determine the teams that will qualify for the 2021 CAF U20 cup of nations in Mauritania.
Oyekale speaking in a chat with brila.net said the technical crew have been in touch and have been communicating daily on how to get work started in full swing once the team gets called to camp. He added that the team has a plan where they can tap from.
“Seriously with the time frame we don’t have time for open screening, so we just look at a few players, and let’s see what we can get out of them. We’ve talked on the phone, in fact on a daily basis we talk with Bosso and we try to put our heads together and see how we can get things done if the Federal Government removes the lockdown on football.”
