Ozil, Fenerbahce and Frankfurt honour Austin Okocha

Super Eagles Legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha was in Istanbul to watch his former Clubs Fenerbahce and Frankfurt on Thursday.

The Nigerian legend was a special guest on the night as both side played out a 1-1 draw.

Okocha who joined Fenerbahce from Frankfurt in 1996 was honored by both clubs and he presented a signed shirt to Fenerbahce star Mesut Ozil.

Recall that the former Arsenal midfielder named Okocha as his childhood hero and revealed he had his previous Fenerbahce jersey.

Okocha signed for Frankfurt in 1992, made 90 appearances scored 18 goals before joining Fenerbahce, where he scored 30 goals in 62 games and helped them to win the league title.

He later moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 1998 in a deal that saw him become the most expensive African player at the time.
