Technical consultant of Kano Pillars Obinna Okafor has stated that the Kano based side are highly motivated ahead of Saturday’s CAF Confederation cup Preliminary round tie against Senegalese side ASC Diaraf.
The former Kano Pillars player speaking in a chat with brila.net revealed that the team had dinner with the Deputy Governor of Kano state where outstanding allowances were paid ahead of the continental tie in order to ensure that the team isn’t lacking financially.
He added that the players have also resolved to ensure they put behind them the ghost of the 5-0 humiliating defeat suffered against Nasarawa united in the build-up to this game.
