Kano Pillars goalkeeper Suraj Aiyeleso has stated that Sai Masugida has their sight set on the possibility of going top of the Nigeria Professional Football League table ahead of today’s clash with league leaders Kwara united FC with the team aiming to win well.
Aiyeleso speaking in a chat with www.brila.net revealed that the Kano-based side are under pressure to respond after a bad outing last time out where they lost 4-1 away to Abia Warriors and want a swift reply to the heavy defeat when they face the league-leading Harmony Boys from Ilorin.
“It’s going to be a tough game, it’s a battle of the pride of who is going to be at the top. If we can win them by 1,2 3 or 4 goals I believe we are going to the top. And we have been doing well apart from the last game that we lost where we conceded four goals. The game at Abia warriors caught us unaware so I believe we are going to respond positively.”
