Rivers United Technical Manager Stanley Eguma was a happy man after his side’s 2-0 victory over Plateau United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday.

 


A brace from Chijioke Akuneto gave the Pride of Rivers a vital win and afterward, the boss spoke to the media about winning, the progress the side is making, the top scorer race, and more.

 

With the victory, the Pride of Rivers opened a 10-point lead ahead of Plateau United in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

 

Speaking after the game, Eguma heaped praises on Plateau United for pushing his team.
