Plateau United end Nasarawa United unbeaten start to the season

Plateau United handed Nasarawa United their first defeat of the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league in Jos on Friday.

 

The Solid Miners went into the match unbeaten in all their previous six NPFL games this season (4W 2D); their longest unbeaten run in a single season since the 2014/15 campaign (7 games).

The three points catapulted Plateau United to fifth on the standing, while Nasarawa United kept their place at top of the table.
