Plateau United Players Devastated following Confederation Cup Elimination

Plateau United captain, Elisha Golbe has described the team’s ouster from the CAF Confederation Cup as devastating following a 4-0 second-leg capitulation against USM Alger on Tuesday.

Plateau United, who are NPFL champions, won the first-leg of the tie 2-1 in Lagos, but were cut down to size in Algiers.

 

Two goals in each half including a brace for Oussama Darfalou on the day left Kennedy Boboye’s men sunken.

 

In a telephone interview with Brila.net after the game, Elisha painted a gloomy picture of the Plateau United dressing room after the game.
