Plateau united captain Elisha Golbe has stated that the Jos based side are still very well on course for a good season despite the not too convincing start to the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season with the team seventh on the NPFL log and playing away to Warri wolves later today.
Golbe speaking in a chat with brila.net ahead of the fixture against Warri wolves posited that the team may have started a bit slow but assuredly will come good and is very much positive of what they can still achieve at the end of what will be a marathon campaign.
“We are well prepared for the match and by the grace of God the 90 minutes will speak for us so we are determined and we will give out our best. You know sometimes you start well and at the end of the day you won’t end well but sometimes you don’t start well and you find yourself at the top of the table, so we are still on course.”
