Plateau united player Charles Henlong has stated that the Jos based side want to consolidate on their first league win over Heartland ahead of today’s clash against Kano Pillars in one of the matchday four fixture in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Henlong speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Jos based side are back to their stride after winning and scoring their first set of goals in the league last time out and will simply want to build on that result later today.
He added that lessons have been learnt from matchday one where the team suffered a shocking 2-0 defeat at home to Kwara united.
“We are seriously back because our first game taught us a very big lesson that the league has began and we need to step up our game.”
