Another weekend of Premier League football is upon us, and this weekend starts with the two most illustrious English clubs going head to head in the latest instalment of the English Derby.

Manchester United 2nd on the table play host to rivals Liverpool who is third on the log with just 2 points adrift United.

Three points too many

Both teams, as well as the fans, will fancy their chances in this game as the Premier League this season has entered deep into the business end.

Three points for the Jose Mourinho’s United will mean they will go 5 points clear of 3rd place Liverpool, though they may not catch up with runaway leaders Man City, a win will scare the Kops off their tail.

In form, Liverpool who has already qualified for the UCL quarterfinals will look to silence the United crowd at the end of the game by stealing away all three points as they push to cement their place in the top 4.

Mo Salah!  Mo Salah!

It would be a hard fought encounter no doubt and football fans are salivating for a mouth-watering display.

Mohamed Salah would cherish a goal or two or even more against United as he gear to score against all the top 6 club this season.

The little Egyptian magician has been impressive all season and currently locked with Harry Kane as the PL joint top – scorer with 24 goals apiece.

With Kane’s Tottenham playing later on Sunday an opportunity to move ahead of the English man is another incentive in the game.

No Parking… Keep driving

Fans will as well expect United’s gaffer Jose Mourinho to adopt a more attacking approach in today’s game after a frustrating defensive display he adopted when the two teams met in October at Anfield.

Though the Portuguese has so far defended his approach and has gone ahead to amass 62 points in 29 Premier League so far, a free-flowing attacking display will best characterize the occasion.

Jose has earlier during the pre-match conference played down the importance of today’s game and called it just another game. We believe is one of his mind games. However, be it or not we hope to see a decent English derby.

Predictions: Man United 2 – 2 Liverpool

We will bring you the match review after the game.
