Pundit Ross Bennett says Nigerian midfielder Joe Aribo is a very good midfielder, but a victim of his ability.
Aribo has been in good form for Rangers this Rangers FC of Scotland with the midfielder voted man of the match in the opening of the season against Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium.
While Speaking about these qualities of Aribo, how vital he can be to the Steven Gerrard’s side, Ross Bennet believes the former Charlton Athletics midfielder is a victim of his versatility.
‘’Aribo, in a way, sometimes is kind of a victim of his own versatility because he’ll be asked to fill in here and there, he’s played left-back when the need arises, we’ve seen him play more defensive midfield and breaking up play and intercepting passes when we need him to’’, he said.
‘’So he is a bit of a victim in a way because he is not always going to be given the top of the diamond, free rein kind of role which he enjoys playing’’. He said.
The experience pundit however urged Steven Gerrard to find the perfect position for the midfielder, but he still believes it as to be at the top of the diamond formation.
