Enyimba continued slow start to the second stanza of the NPFL, following another home draw with Nasarawa United on Wednesday.
Finidi’s side were frustrated in a 1-1 draw with Group A leaders Bendel Insurance last weekend, and he warned the players of the need to win today’s fixture against Nasarawa United.
The plea apparently yielded no result as the team played out another 1-1 draw against struggling Solid Miners.
In form striker Emeka Obioma gave Enyimba FC the ideal start when he converted a 12th minute penalty after a Nasarawa United player committed a foul in the box.
Enyimba however wasted numerous opportunities to kill off the game, and we’re made to pay for their misses as the visitors found leveler with 14 minutes left on the clock courtesy of Emmanuel Ogbole.
The draw leaves Enyimba fourth on the table, with 18 points from 11 matches. Although they are just a point off playoff spot.
As for Nasarawa United, they remain in the relegation zone with just 8 points 11 matches.
