Coach Gbenga Ogunbote says he is not bordered on pressure from the fans of Remo Stars.
Ogunbote told the press on Thursday at the ongoing Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre-season tournament in Ijebu Ode.
The former Sunshine Stars and Enugu Rangers came under heavy criticism from the fans following their poor first-half display against MFM FC on Thursday.
After going 2-0 down in the first half, the Sky Blues fought back in the second half and they took the game 3-2.
Speaking after the game, Ogunbote said he couldn’t care less about the criticisms from the fans and stated that only the management can sack him.
“They didn’t give me the job, the man and the management that gave me the job are watching us.”
“Until they tell me to go, I am too strong to bother about the pressure of the fans and noise.” He said.
