Remo Stars are back in the continental spot following their comprehensive victory over Dakkada FC in Ikenne on Wednesday.
The Sky Blues Army took their visitors to the cleaners and recorded an emphatic 4-1 win in the NPFL Week 23 encounter.
It was their biggest victory in the league so far this season, after 23 games.
Tolulope Ojo put the Gbenga Ogunbote tutored side in front in the 33rd minute. The lead only lasted for six minutes as Etido Dan leveled for Dakkada FC.
Qudus Akanni restored Remo Stars’ four minutes into the second half before Andy Okpe made it 3-1 in the 57th minute.
Andy Okpe has now been involved in 12 goals for Remo Stars this season (9 goals, and 3 assists).
New signing Sikiru Alimi added the fourth in the last minute of added. It was Alimi’s second goal since signing for the Club.
The three points lift Remo Stars to the third position on the table. They replaced Enugu Rangers who lost 2-1 to Niger Tornadoes in Kaduna.
