Former Morocco Boss Herve Renard has poured cold water on rumors he is set to replace Aliou Cisse as Senegal Head Coach.
Renard who previously won the AFCON title with Zambia and Ivory Coast was tipped by several Senegalese publications to replace Teranga Lions legend Aliou Cisse.
However, in a swift response, the 50 year-old Frenchman squashed the news, describing them as “rumors”.
In addition, He reiterated his next job will be outside the continent. Brila.net had previously reported Renard is in line to take up the Saudi Arabia national team job.
He tweeted this on Wednesday:
In order to put an immediate end to rumours which are totally unfounded, I will announce in a few days my choice but I can already say as I did a few months ago that it will not be on the African continent.
